Elections to the EATAW Board (2007 – 2009):

Election Process.

For the elections 2007, the following arrangements will apply:

  1. Due to complications of postal/e-mail voting, only those present at the Bochum conference are allowed to vote.
  2. In their conference folder, all conference participants will receive a ballot paper with the names of the candidates in alphabetical order. The conference folder will also include the statements of the candidates.
  3. The candidates will shortly introduce themselves on Saturday June 30, 17.30 – 18.30, in the plenary room.
  4. A polling booth (for optional use) and a ballot box will stand in the conference entrance area on Sunday, July 1, from 8.00 to 14.00.
  5. The ballot papers have to be completed and posted into the box until Sunday, July 1, until 14.00. Late votes will not be counted.
  6. The electoral committee will count the votes and will announce the new board (2007-2009) on Sunday, July 1, between 17.30 and 18.15. The counting procedure will be observed by an independent person.
